The Master Page Display Wizard allows you to easily access the Display Wizard for most CorasWorks Basic Components located on a master page, so you can maintain the component properties without having to use SharePoint Designer.
1. When you initially access the Master Page Display Wizard from the Site Settings page, a selection page is displayed. This page is used to identify the site, master page, and content page that you want to work with. At the top of the page, use the radio buttons to identify the location of the master page you want to work with.
• Current Site is selected by default, and all of the master pages and content pages on the current site are pre-loaded in the drop-downs below.
• If you choose Specify Site, you can type a URL at the prompt or click the Browse button to choose from a drop-down list of all sites in the current site collection. You can identify any site, including one on a different server.
2. The master pages located on the selected site are shown in the Master Page drop-down. Choose the master page where the component you want to manage is located.
3. Next, select the appropriate content page from the Content Page drop-down.
• Once you make a selection here, the Display drop-down states Loading Displays from Master...
• In a few moments, all available displays are loaded into the drop-down, which now states Select a Display. The area to the left of the drop-downs shows a preview of the selected page to help verify that the correct page has been selected. Scroll bars are available to view the rest of the page.
4. Select the name of the display you want to work with from the Display drop-down. The Views page of the Display Wizard for the selected display is shown on top of the main Master Page Display Wizard page.
5. Make the necessary edits in any part of the Display Wizard as described in the corresponding online help topic. All features of the Display Wizard are available here, including the ability to edit, copy, and delete views and attach central views.

6. When you are finished with the Display Wizard, click Finish to save your changes and return to the main Master Page Display Wizard page. The changes you make are immediately applied to all sites that reference the selected master page.
