The Display Wizard has the ability to change a View’s name, description, and type without having to edit the entire View. This is achieved through the use of the Quick Edit icons.
Located in the same row as the View’s name, the Quick Edit icons permit for fast editing. Depending on what is happening with the View, the icons can change.
Shown below is a listing of the Quick Edit icons and their purposes.

Default View selector, not visible if the Default View option is disabled. Click to make the View the default View for the component. |

The component’s Default View. When Default Views are enabled, this icon appears to the left of the default View. |

When editing an item, click the Check icon to save the changes. The changes to the View (or the item being modified) will be saved. |

When editing an item, click the Cancel icon to stop making changed. The changes to the View (or the item being modified) will not be saved. |

To edit the settings for the View, click on the Edit button. The user will be taken to the “Editing View” page. |

The Quick Edit icon. When this pencil icon is clicked, the selected View expands to allow for editing of the View’s name, description, and type. |

The Copy View button makes a duplicate of the selected View. To edit the new View’s title, click on its Quick Edit icon. |

Click on the Upload Central View button to take the currently configured View and save it to a library. |

This is the Delete View icon. Click on it to delete the current View, sending it to the Deleted Views trash can. |
