Once a global link has been created, the category and URL be edited as necessary. The link name cannot be edited once a link has been created because that would cause all of the properties that reference the link to be invalid. If you need to change the name of a global link, you will need to create a new link, instead.
Global links can be edited via the Global Links Manager as described below, or via the Global Links button on any Display Wizard as described in the help for Grid Displays. Keep in mind that when a global link is edited, it will affect all of the properties that reference the link in all of the displays throughout your environment.
1. On the Global Links Manager’s Link Selection page, locate the global link to be edited and click the Edit icon to the right. The Link Details page is displayed. Note that the Global Link Name is visible, but grayed out.
2. Make the necessary changes to the Global Link Category and/or the Global Link URL.
3. When you are finished, click Finish to save the changes and return to the Link Selection page. The link is updated and all properties that reference the link are automatically updated, as well.
