If you chose Static configuration in the Data Settings section, a Static Grouping section is shown at the bottom of the page. This section is used to define each of the groups that you want to show in your chart. Each group will be shown as a single bar, slice, or data point on the chart.
1. At the prompt for a Calculation column, select the column that contains the data to be shown in the chart. The calculation selected below will be performed against the values or items in this column.
2. At the prompt for a Data calculation, select the type of calculation to perform against the data in the column identified in Step 1. If the selected column contains non-numeric data, the only available calculation is Count. Otherwise, the options include:
o Average
o Maximum
o Minimum
o Standard Deviation
o Variance
3. The Data value drop-down is automatically populated with all of the available values in the column you identified in Step 1. Highlight the value(s) you want to include in the bar, slice, or data point.
4. Select the Add Another Group button to show another set of entry fields and define an additional data group. Remember that each data group is represented by a single bar, slice, or data point in the chart. The groups are displayed on the chart in the order in which they are defined on this page.
To remove a group (bar, slice, or data point) from the chart, locate the static group definition that you want to remove and click the Delete Group button at the bottom of the group.
