The Lists page is only displayed when the view type is set to Menu Navigation List or Cascading Navigation List. It is used to identify the list(s) that contain the references to the pages you want to include in the Menu Navigation.
When you access the Lists page, it will look similar to the example shown here.
The Lists page functions in a similar manner as it does with Data Displays. Two list selection methods are provided: Selective and Line of Site.
• With the Line of Site list selection method, the Display Wizard automatically takes the information in the navigation lists in the sites identified on the Sites page. When you choose this option, the Display Wizard shows a read-only display of the lists and libraries that currently match your criteria. If additional navigation lists are created in the future within the specified number of levels, they will be included in the Menu Navigation automatically.
• With the Selective list selection method, you choose the exact lists to include in the Menu Navigation. This is made easy: when you choose the Selective radio button, the Display Wizard returns a list of all the available lists in the site(s) you selected, and you highlight the ones you want to reference.
Once you have selected the sites and lists to reference, the last step is to define the Display Settings as discussed on the next page.
