Context Menu Settings

The Context Menu Settings page is used to identify the options that are presented to the user on the menu that is accessed when the user clicks the secondary mouse button anywhere within a Grid or Calendar Display. Chart Displays do not offer a context menu.

NOTE: The context menu option to add a new item is not available for document libraries.

There are two context menus shown on a grid, depending on where the end user clicks. The one in the first example below shows the context menu that is displayed when the user clicks on an item in a grid. The menu in the second example below shows the context menu that is displayed when the user clicks within the column headings.

Note that some of the options on these context menus are SharePoint standards; they are not affected by properties on the Display Wizard.
