The View Details page is the first page displayed when you choose to create a new CorasWorks view or edit an existing one. It is used to identify the view name and description. Neither of these is shown to the end user; they are used simply to help the currently selected view that the builder is working with.
If you are creating a new view, provide the View Name and Description in the appropriate entry areas. Note that with the Tree View only one View Type is available.
The view description is optional, but can be helpful to you as a builder to identify the view you are working with. Since only one view can be made available to the end user, none of this information is seen by the end user.
