Any user can use, create, modify, or delete a global variable, as long as they have the necessary permission to the list in which the variables are saved. Both the name and the URL can be modified. Two people will be prevented from modifying the same variable at the same time.
•To modify a global variable, simply make the necessary changes to the entry and click Finish.
•To delete a global variable, highlight each part of the entry and press Delete or Backspace and then click Finish.
NOTE: The Global Variable Updater provides a simple way to change global variables across local and central views, actions, and displays. Click here for more information.
IMPORTANT! If you need to update or delete a global variable, keep in mind that it will affect all of the properties in all of the displays that reference that variable. If a global variable is deleted, you may not be aware of it until a user goes to a page and the display no longer works as expected.
