Perform the v11 installation for a farm. Once the install is completed, all of the solutions show "Error" and did not install.
Stop all of the application pools on all of the front end web servers except for SharePoint Central Administration application pool. Retract the solutions and then deploy. All of the solution should now deploy correctly.
