Chart Displays are a type of Data Display that is used to connect and aggregate information throughout workplaces built using SharePoint. However, instead of showing information in a grid or calendar format, the information is presented in a graphic chart format. The chart formats that are currently supported are as follows, with sub-types available for each format:
• Area
• Bar
• Column
• Donut
• Line
• Pie
As with Grid and Calendar Displays, you can create any number of views for a single instance of a Chart Display. Each view can utilize a different chart format and point to different data, if you wish. Chart Displays can be implemented anywhere and point to data in one site, multiple sites, or selected sites. Numerous properties are available via the Display Wizard to change the look and feel of each chart.
