The Actions menu allows both administrators and users to execute common tasks. The Show Version action is available to all users on the system.
To use the Actions menu and view version information, go to the web part and drop down the web part menu options by clicking on the down arrow on the top right hand side of the web part. Drag the mouse over "Actions" and then choose the desired option.
