Accessing the Display Wizard

Just like the Data Display components, the Tree View and the other Navigation Display components utilize a Display Wizard to maintain the component properties and define any number of CorasWorks Views. However, a key difference with navigation components is that only one view at a time can be made available to the end user.

To access the Display Wizard and maintain the properties for the Tree View, you will need to put the page in Edit Mode. Once in Edit Mode, click on the edit button in the top right corner of the display and then select Edit CorasWorks Settings. A Views page is displayed, highlighting the currently selected view.

NOTE: The Display Wizard is only available in Shared Mode; it is not supported in Personal Mode.

The Views page offers the same options as are provided on the Views page for a Data Display’s Display Wizard:

      Create Local View

      Attach a Central View

      Save to Web Part Gallery

      Edit

      Copy

      Delete

      Web Part Settings

      Global Links

      Cancel

      Finish

You can return to Views page from anywhere within the Display Wizard by clicking the Views button along the bottom of the wizard.

The remaining sections of this help topic describe the highlights of what can be done on each Display Wizard page for the Tree View Navigation component.

NOTE:   In order for an individual to have access to the Display Wizard, they must have at least the following minimum site permissions:

      Manage Permissions

      Create Subsites

      Manage Web Site
