Step 4: Activate the CorasWorks Application Designer Solution

This final step is performed through Central Administration AND is required for the CorasWorks Application Designer v4 (or later) to operate.

1.    Open the Central Administration for the environment.

2.    In the Application Management section, click on the Manage web applications link.

3.    In the Web Applications Management page, click on the first web application where the CorasWorks Application Designer is to be used.

4.    With the web application highlighted, click on the Manage Features link (located in the Manage section of the ribbon).

5.    In the resulting Manage Web Application Features panel, click on the Activate button for the CorasWorks Application Designer Utilities.

6.  Once the CorasWorks Application Designer Utilities feature is activated, click on the OK button to return to the Web Applications Management page.  Return to step 3 and choose any additional web applications where the Application Designer will be used.
