Step 1: Upgrade the DLLs and the CorasWorks Installation Manager

1.  Download the v11.4 Upgrade package from the CorasWorks Customer Center (http://Help.CorasWorks.net).

2.  Decompress the upgrade package into a local drive on the server.  Do not use a shared network drive.

3.  On each Web Front End (WFE) server go into the Control Panel and select Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs).

4.  Select CorasWorks v11 and click the Uninstall button for each of the web front end servers.

NOTE: This step is performed to ensure that none of the DLL files are locked by the file system while they are being upgraded when you perform Step 5 below. This does not affect the applications built with the CorasWorks platform and will not retract the web parts off the servers.

5.  Perform an IIS Reset.

6.  Locate the CW_Components_Setup-64Bit.exe file from the location where the upgrade package was decompressed, right-click on it, and choose to install as the Administrator. This needs to be done on each web front end SharePoint 2010 server.

7.  Go to the server with the Central Administration and go into the Control Panel.

8.  Within Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs), uninstall the CorasWorks Installation Manager.

9.  Locate the CIM_Setup_SP2010.exe file from the location where the upgrade package was decompressed, right-click on it, and choose to install as the Administrator.

10. When the installation is completed, perform another IIS Reset.
