The Publish button is used to save the navigation settings. Until the Publish button is pressed, the changes to the navigation are not saved. This includes changes to the navigation structure, the site theme, and other structural changes.
When the Publish button is pressed, the changes are saved and cannot be undone.

DO NOT hit the browser’s refresh button while editing within the Design Canvas page. Changes to the Navigation structure are saved when the Publish button is clicked. If the Design Canvas page is refreshed, all changes made since the last time the Publish button was clicked will be lost. A “best practice” is to regularly click on the Publish Action button to save changes to the Navigation. If the browser page is accidentally refreshed, regularly saving changes will prevent all work from being lost. |
