To add a Widget to the navigation,
click on the Widget’s icon and drag it from the Widgets section to the Design
Canvas. Drop the icon in the section under the name of the tab.
Tabs are displayed in order, from left to right, and the new Widget icon can
be dragged to the appropriate spot if it is dropped in the wrong spot.
Once the Widget is in the proper spot, click on the “Publish” button at the top
of the Design Canvas to save the change to the Navigation.
The sections that follow provide details on each of the Widget types.

After many of the Widgets there is a number within parentheses (i.e. – Home (1)). .This value indicates how many times the Widget is being used within the Navigation structure. Click on a Widget to see where it is being used within the Design Canvas. Selected widgets will be highlighted in the navigation structure. For example, if a Widget is dragged to two separate locations in the Navigation and the navigation changes published, the value after the Widget will read (2). Widgets not used in the Navigation will have a value of (0). This makes it straightforward to determine what Widgets can be removed without impacting the navigation. The exception is with the Content Widgets. The number in parentheses after the list or library is the number of items contained within the underlying list/library. |
