Content Widget: Lists

Title: Content Widget - Lists - Description: Content Widget - ListsThe List section shows the lists available within the current site.  These lists can be used by the Views, Forms & Reporting, and Reporting Widgets.  However, the Lists themselves cannot be dragged into the Design Canvas and used as part of the navigation.

To create a new list, click on the “New List” link at the top of the section.  A panel will open, asking for the List Title and the List Type.  Complete the fields, then click on the Save button.  The list will be created and automatically displayed in the Lists listing.

To modify or delete a list, click on its Edit link (found to the left of the list name).  The resulting panel provides the options typically seen when creating a new SharePoint list.  The list’s title can be modified, columns can be add/edited/removed, and the permissions changed.  When changes are completed, click on the blue X in the top right-corner of the panel to return to the Design Canvas.
